He graduated from the London School of Economics and has taught at the National University of Singapore, the University of Tasmania,\u00a0 and the University of Queensland.\u00a0 He has authored and co-authored 11 books with major academic presses. His most recent publications include History\u2019s Fools, the Pursuit of Idealism and the Revenge of Politics (2020) and The Strategy of Maoism in the West (2022).
