Dr. Tamás Csiki Varga graduated in 2009 from the University of Public Service (UPS) and its predecessor, the former Zrínyi Miklós University of National Defence. Afterwards, he continued his studies at the Central European University and obtained a PhD degree at the Doctoral School of Military Science. Currently, he is a Senior Research Fellow at the Strategic Defence Research Institute of the Eötvös József Research Centre of the UPS. His teaching and research interests include the defence policy of European states, especially Germany and Hungary, NATO, and the security and defence implications of minority conflicts.
