He is a Széchenyi Prize-winning mechanical engineer, university professor, and Hungarian Academy of Sciences member. He served as Minister of Innovation and Technology from 2018 to November 2022. He is a member of the editorial board of several scientific journals. He has received numerous professional and state awards for his internationally significant scientific work.
