Sumantra Maitra is a British researcher who holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham. His main focus is on great power strategies and the post-socialist region, emphasising Russia. Dr Sumantra Maitra is the Director of research and outreach, at the American Ideas Institute, and a senior editor at The American Conservative. He’s also an elected, Associate Fellow at the Royal Historical Society, London.
