Genti Xhaxhiu is an experienced public administration and EU affairs expert, currently serving as Coordinator at the Regional School of Public Administration (ReSPA)—a joint initiative of the European Union and the Western Balkans. With a rich background in Albanian public administration, he has held various strategic roles and led teams focusing on European and foreign affairs, cohesion policy, regional cooperation, and EU funds management. Beyond his institutional engagements, Genti is an external lecturer at the University of Tirana, delivering specialized modules on EU affairs and Cohesion Policies. His academic credentials include an Executive Master in EU Studies from the Centre International de Formation Européenne (CIFE) in Berlin and an advanced programme in Management and Public Policy at the School of Public Affairs of Paris (Sciences Po). In 2018–2019, Genti Xhaxhiu was a research fellow at the Institute for Jewish Research in New York. His commitment to continuous learning is reflected in his participation in several executive programs at Harvard University, the University of Virginia, and the College of Europe. A multilingual professional, he is fluent in English, Italian, and French and has basic knowledge of the Montenegrin language.
