Márk Vargha is a lawyer, political communication advisor, and an expert in digital regional development. He completed his studies in Pécs and Budapest. He began his career as an administrative officer and later worked in three different ministries as a legislator, legal practitioner, legal coordinator, and political advisor. For nearly six and a half years, he was a senior analyst at the Migration Research Institute of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium. During this time, he published dozens of studies, gave lectures in Hungary and abroad, contributed articles to outlets such as Mandiner, Index, and 24.hu, edited journals and books, and appeared in the media hundreds of times. He has also worked for the Századvég Foundation and the Digital Welfare Nonprofit Ltd. Since November 2023, he has been a strategic analyst at the Energy Strategy Institute, and as of October 2024, he serves as the head of the Institute's Public Policy Group. Together with his colleagues, he analyzes climate policy, circular economy, green ideology, as well as global economic and social phenomena.
