Colonel Dr István Resperger professor, former Director of the Institute of National Security, former Head of the Department of Military National Security, LUPS Faculty of Military Science and Officer Training. He has received several professional awards, including the Pro Siencia Gold Medal in 1997 and the Bolyai Research Fellowship in 2008. His research interests include asymmetric and hybrid warfare, terrorism and conflict. He is a regular expert speaker in the domestic media, especially on the Russian-Ukrainian war. He is currently the head of the center and a university professor at the Security Research Center of MATE.
