Economist, Vice-Rector for Research at the Krakow University of Economics, and faculty member at the Department of Statistics. He is the recipient of eight research grants from the National Science Centre (NCN, Poland), a member of the Polish Statistical Association, the Section of Classification and Data Analysis, and the Committee for Economic Sciences and Statistics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Kraków branch). He has authored over forty publications indexed in the Scopus database, including several articles published in high-impact journals. He serves on the editorial boards of Scientific Reports, Energy Efficiency, Energy Sources Part B, and Energies. His research interests include energy transition and its social costs, energy poverty, sustainable development, and commodity markets. He has received awards from the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education and holds the Medal of the National Education Commission.
