The Meseszó Hungarian Storytelling and Verbal Folklore Association was founded in 2014 with the aim of playing a prominent role in Hungarian cultural life—as a professional organization for those engaged in Hungarian verbal folklore—and in preserving and passing on traditions and values. It also seeks to protect and represent the interests of professionals working in the field of verbal folklore.
