Major General Dr. László Sticz, Commander, graduated from the Kossuth Lajos Military College in 1988. He continued his military leadership studies at the Zrínyi Miklós University of National Defence from 1997-1999 and obtained a PhD in Strategic Security Studies from the same school in 2010. From 2000 to 2001, he served as a J3 JOC Land desk officer at KFOR MAIN HQ Pristina, and from 2003 to 2006 as a Senior Force Planning Officer at NATO Transformation Command, Capability Requirements Division, Belgium (NATO ACT SEE Belgium, Mons). From 2006 to 2010, he was Head of Department at the Agency for Development and Logistics of the Ministry of Defence. From 2010 to 2016, he was Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff at the Hungarian Defence Forces Health Centre. From 2016 to 2022, he was Group Chief at the Military Force Planning Group Headquarters of the Hungarian Defence Forces Command. From 01 November 2022, he was Commander of the Military Force Modernisation and Transformation Command.
