Is the Director of the Research Center at REKK. He earned his degree in economics from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences in 1995, followed by a doctoral degree in 2002. Between 1998 and 2002, he worked at the Ministry of Economy and later at the Hungarian Energy Office. Subsequently, for eight years, he served as a researcher at the Joint Research Center of the European Commission in Seville, focusing on the long-term energy market and climate modelling. He has participated in numerous European research projects with his colleagues, including those related to energy-intensive industries, renewable energies, and climate change, and has co-authored several publications. Since 2010, he has been a senior researcher at the Regional Centre for Energy Policy Research (REKK), where he specialises in the analysis and teaching of electricity systems, particularly focusing on network regulation issues and the analysis of renewable energy support schemes from a domestic, regional, and European perspective. He assumed the leadership of the REKK Regional Centre for Energy Policy Research in 2018.
