Dr. David Martin Jones is a Visiting Professor and teaching fellow in War Studies at King’s College, University of London and Honorary Visiting Professor at the University of Buckingham. He graduated from the London School of Economics and has taught at the National University of Singapore, the University of Tasmania,  and the University of Queensland.  He has authored and co-authored 11 books with major academic presses. His most recent publications include History’s Fools, the Pursuit of Idealism and the Revenge of Politics (2020) and The Strategy of Maoism in the West (2022). His essays on political development and political violence have appeared inter alia in International Affairs, Comparative Politics, Orbis, Quadrant, International Security, The National Interest and The Critic.
