Dr. András Szöllősi-Nagy, Professor at the Faculty of Water Sciences, Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, has been a visiting professor at several universities abroad. For 20 years, he was Secretary of the UNESCO International Hydrology Programme in Paris, and for ten years, he was Deputy Director-General of the UNESCO Natural Sciences Sector. His main research interests are stochastic hydrological systems, recursive forecasting algorithms, and the hydrological impacts of sustainable development and climate change.
