Pol. Colonel Bence Mészáros obtained his law degree from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Pécs in 2004 and his PhD degree from the Doctoral School of the University of Pécs in 2011 with a thesis on using covert intelligence in criminal cases, especially undercover policing. Since 2017 he has been the vice-dean of the Faculty of Law Enforcement of the UPS, since 2015 he has been the head of a department, and currently, he is an associate professor at the Department of Investigation Theory. His taught subjects include, among others, Criminal Tactics; Criminal Intelligence; Criminalistics; Criminal Strategy; Theory of Evidence; and Private Investigation.
