Christian Ketels is a member of the Harvard Business School faculty where he serves as the Principal Associate at Prof. Michael Porter’s Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness. He is a Director and Co-Chair of the Innovation Fund Denmark, chairs the Advisory Board of the TCI Network and the Scientific Advisory Board of Orkestra, the Basque Institute for Competitiveness. He was Chief Economist of the Boston Consulting Group, where he was heading the Center for Macroeconomics at the BCG Henderson Institute. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the London School of Economics. Dr Ketels'research interests focus on the relationship between company strategy and location and on competitiveness at different geograpic levels, especially in Europe.
