She has been the Head of the Department of International Security Studies since 2016 and has held the position of associate professor since 2020. She graduated from the Faculty of Humanities at Eötvös Loránd University as a high school teacher of Italian language and literature in 1997. In the same institution, she obtained a degree in history education in 1999 and a PhD in international relations from Corvinus University of Budapest in 2003. In 2013, she habilitated in military sciences and security studies. Since 2019, she has been the Hungarian Society of Military Sciences vice president.
