He is the head of the Department of Military Science. In 1990, he graduated as a Mechanized Infantry Officer and Combat Vehicle Operator Engineer from the Kossuth Lajos Military College in Szentendre, Hungary. In 1997, he obtained a teaching degree from the Bundeswehr University in Hamburg, Germany, and later pursued qualifications as a certified human organiser and a specialist in foreign affairs. In 2007, he earned his doctoral degree from the Faculty of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Leiden University in the Netherlands. In 2022, he obtained a qualification as a certified military senior leader at the Ludovika University of Public Service. Since 2012, he has been an associate professor; since 2017, he has served as the scientific and international vice dean. Since 2019, he has been the vice dean for international affairs, and since 2020, he has also been the head of the Department of Military Science at the Faculty of Military Sciences and Officer Training. Dr Jobbágy has received numerous honours and awards, including the Peacekeeping Service Medal, Officer's Service Medal, NATO Non-Article 5 Medal for ISAF, and the Kossuth Memorial Medal.
