Dr Tamás Pálvölgyi, Associate Professor, climate researcher with a degree in Earth Sciences, PhD in Geography and Meteorology, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Water Sciences and Head of the Department of Water and Environmental Policy. He has been involved in developing the first National Environmental Programme and the ISPA Strategy. He has been an active participant in the OECD and EU accession negotiations on environmental issues. His research activities cover climate change prevention, socio-economic impacts, climate vulnerability, adaptation and preparedness, sustainability, natural resources, and environmental policy.
