The Ludovika Big Band was formed in the fall of 2022 by students of Ludovika University. The initial goal was for university students who can play music to utilise their skills and enjoy themselves. Over the course of a year, the band improved so much that they decided to showcase their abilities to a larger audience. Thus, in November 2023, they filled the Széchenyi Hall and held a sold-out concert for the university community and interested individuals. The band's repertoire includes both old classics and modern hits.
