András Bartók graduated from the Károli Gáspár Reformed University with a degree in Oriental Languages and Cultures, followed by a Master's degree in Japanese Studies, and then continued his studies in Japan at Oita University. He holds a PhD degree from the Doctoral School of Military Science of the University of Public Service and speaks Japanese and English at a high level. His teaching and research interests include security and defence policy in East Asia, particularly China and Japan.
