MCC Visiting Lecturer who holds a Bachelor's degree in social anthropology from the University of Cambridge. He holds a Master's in migration studies from Oxford University and a PhD in human geography. He is an expert and consultant on 'climate migration’ and the historical significance of social media.

Dr. Nicholson has previously worked as a development consultant and researcher in the UK Parliament. He teaches courses on international development, international migration and the politics of climate change at the University of Cambridge.
