George Tilesch, a lawyer by training, works as an AI consultant and advisor in Silicon Valley, is the founding President of the PHI Institute for Augmented Intelligence and an AI Ambassador of the Neumann Society. He has lived in California since 2010, working for the US, Dubai and EU governments, Fortune 50 tech companies and international organisations. His book BetweenBrains, co-written with NASA Chief Innovation Officer Omar Hatamleh, on the economic, political and societal changes caused by AI and on civilisational responses to technological challenges of unprecedented power and speed, was published in English in 2020 and in Hungarian in 2021 under the title Artificiality and Intelligence.
