Ambassador Péter Mocsáry, a Hungarian diplomat, is currently working in Belgrade as a special advisor to the Negotiating Team for the Accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union. He is an economist, working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary since 1997. He worked at the EU State Secretariat during the accession procedure of Hungary to the European Union. He was a member of the core team of the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2011. He has served as an EU expert in Belgrade since 2016.
