She studied at the University of Ankara, Faculty of Political Sciences- International Relations, graduated in 2003 and did her MBA at Bahcesehir University- Istanbul, in 2014. Karanis Eksioglu completed the Women Leadership Program at Yale University in 2019 and the Digitalisation Program at MIT in 2020. Currently, she is doing her PhD at Bahcesehir University, on Global Politics and International Relations. She was elected as “Young Global Leader” by the “International Diplomacy Institute” in 2007. Karanis Eksioglu was the Board Member of the Turkish-German Business Council and also of the International Cooperation Platform. She is still a member of the Board of Trustees of the Genc Hayat Foundation in Istanbul. Karanis Eksioglu has been the co-coordinator of Antalya Diplomacy Forum since 2020, an initiative of the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
