Camilo Morales is an international business administrator from Universidad de la Sabana, Colombia, and has advanced studies in mining, energy, and sustainable development law from Universidad de Los Andes. He has 9 years of experience in public, commercial and international affairs in the energy, oil and gas sectors. He served as Energy, Oil and Gas Officer at the Department for International Trade, United Kingdom, where he designed the strategy to increase British exports to Colombia. Subsequently, he supervised the international affairs of the Colombian National Hydrocarbons Agency to develop a cooperation framework for the offshore oil and gas exploration and production areas. Additionally, he served as Senior Advisor to the Mayor’s Office of Barranquilla, leading Barranquilla to become the first energy capital of Colombia.
