As a research fellow at the John Lukacs Institute, Gábor Csizmazia focuses on the United States' foreign policy, with particular emphasis on its security relations with Central and Eastern Europe. He earned his PhD in 2021 at the Doctoral School of Military Sciences at the University of Public Service. He is a former fellow of the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies and has been a visiting researcher at George Washington University and the Institute of World Politics. In addition to his research, he teaches courses on the American political system, U.S. foreign policy, and Central and Eastern Europe. He also serves as a course leader on security policy at the Hungarian Diplomatic Academy.
