Dr. Péter Pillók, sociologist, PhD in sociology. He wrote his dissertation on research methodology and is currently an associate professor at the Department of Social Research of the Institute of Sociology of Pázmány Péter Catholic University. Director of the Századvég Public Knowledge Centre Foundation and Századvég Konjunktúrakutató Zrt., Head of the Social Research Division.
Between 2002 and 2014, he was a youth researcher at the National Institute for Youth Research, Mobility, the National Institute for Family and Social Policy, and then head of department. Since 2012, he has been working at Századvég. His main research interests include research methodology, public opinion polling, social stratification, mobility and youth sociology. He has been involved in all six waves of the large-scale youth research project 2000-2020 and has worked as a youth pillar leader in a TÁMOP project.
He is the editor of Századvég Riport, a member of the editorial board of Századvég magazine, and since 2021, he has been the editor-in-chief of the quarterly Y.Z. magazine published by the National Youth Council Association.
