Klaudia Szemereyné Pataki began her career as a tourism officer at the County Chamber of Commerce and later became the manager of the Aranyhomok Hotel in Kecskemét. She continuously pursued her education, earning degrees in economics and economics education, and completed her PhD in leadership studies at Corvinus University in 2024.
In 2006, she became the Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee of the Kecskemét City Council. Just two years later, as Deputy Mayor, she played a key role in bringing Mercedes-Benz to Kecskemét. Since 2014, she has served as the Mayor of Kecskemét.
Throughout her career, she has placed great emphasis on economic and educational development. Notable milestones include her membership in the National Dual Training Council from 2015 to 2017 and her supervisory board role at the Neumann János University Foundation since 2020.
