Lajos Szabó has been Director of the National Cyber Security Center of the Special Service of National Security since 2022. He holds a degree in Information Technology from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. During his career, he has gained extensive professional knowledge in the fields of media technology, IT infrastructure, and cyber security of state and critical systems. As Executive Director of the National Cyber Security Center, he ensures network, data and information security of government and critical infrastructures. His responsibilities include incident management, incident detection, malicious code analysis and vulnerability assessments.
