Leading Research Fellow at the Research Institute of Criminology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Philosophy in Law (PhD). Ulugbek Askarbekovich Irisbekov served for 32 years in the criminal investigation departments within the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 2025, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation titled "Improving the Prevention of Extortion Crimes." He is the author of scientific developments including 2 textbooks, 5 teaching manuals, and over 40 scientific articles, and has led more than 5 scientific and practical research projects. Currently, he is heading the scientific and practical research project titled "Modern Criminological Analysis of Organized Crime and Development of Effective Mechanisms for Combating It," conducting scientific research within the framework of this project.
