Dr András Mágó graduated from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in 2009. He obtained his legal qualification in 2010, followed by a civil registry specialist exam and a higher-level competitive exam. In 2014, he passed the legal specialisation exam.
From 2010 to 2017, he worked at the Office of Immigration and Nationality in various positions, and since 2017, he has been with the Immigration and Refugee Affairs Office. Since 2019, he has served as the Acting Director of the Refugee Affairs Directorate within the Immigration and Refugee Affairs Office. Since July 1, 2019, he has been the head of department (director) of the Refugee Affairs Directorate at the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
