Dr László Csicsmann is an associate professor and has been the head of the Budapest Corvinus University's Corvinus Center for Contemporary Asia Studies since November 2023. Previously, between 2022 and 2023, he was an associate professor at the Széchenyi István University and the dean of the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Economics. From 2002 to 2022, he worked at the Budapest Corvinus University, holding positions such as vice-rector, dean, and institute director. His research focuses on the political, economic, and social processes of the Middle East and North Africa, as well as the South Asian region. His studies address issues such as sanctions policy, energy issues, and regional aspects of the changing world order.
