Dr Zsuzsanna Makay is a demographer and a senior research fellow at the Population Research Institute of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH). She studied in Budapest and Paris and completed her thesis at the French National Institute for Demographic Studies (INED) between 2006 and 2010. She obtained her PhD degree in 2012 and has been working at the Hungarian Demographic Research Institute since 2010. Her research focuses on fertility, family policy, work-life balance, and reproductive health (assisted reproductive technologies; difficulties in childbearing).
