Professor Emeritus of the Department of International Security Studies, retired General, former Chief of the General Staff of the Hungarian Defence Forces, and President of the Hungarian Military Science Society. He is one of the most respected Hungarian experts on foreign, military and security policy. His teaching and research interests include NATO, the Hungarian Defence Forces, defence policy, defence economics and security policy.
