In 1991 he graduated as a mechanized infantryman and combat vehicle maintenance engineer from the Kossuth Lajos Military College, and in 2005 he obtained a military leader degree from the National Defense University in Warsaw.
From 1991 to 2002, he served in various command positions at the 62nd Bercsényi Miklós Mechanized Infantry Battalion (Hódmezővásárhely), and from 2006 to 2009, he was a senior officer at the Ministry of Defense's Armed Forces Planning Division. Since 2012 he has held various command positions at the HDF General Staff, serving as Deputy Group Leader at the Armed Forces Planning Group of the Ministry of Defense.
