He earned his law degree from the Faculty of Law at Eötvös Loránd University in 1993 and studied at the Vienna Diplomatic Academy from 1993 to 1994. From 1993, he worked as a NATO and Western Europe referent at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was a junior diplomat at Hungary's Permanent Representation to NATO in Brussels from 1996 to 2000. From 2000, he held several leadership positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including serving as the director of security policy for one year from 2009. From 2010 to 2013, he served as Deputy State Secretary and Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 2013, he served as Hungary's Permanent Representative to NATO in Brussels for five years. Since June 23, 2018, he has been the State Secretary for Security Policy and Energy Security at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
